The Garfield Park Conservatory will be closed on Friday November 27 (the day after Thanksgiving) due to mandatory shutdown days for the Chicago Park District. Please note, however, that the Conservatory will be open on Thursday November 26 (Thanksgiving Day).

The Garfield Park Conservatory will also be closed for two other mandatory shutdown days this year - Thursday December 24 (Christmas Eve) and Thursday December 31 (New Years Eve).

We apologize for any inconvenience. Due to these difficult financial times, the mandatory shut down days are one of the many measures the Chicago Park District is taking to balance the 2009 budget.
